Historic Halifax now has a re-established downtown corner where many businesses continue to offer their wares. The client's goal of reuniting the segmented property posed many planning and development difficulties --not to mention architectural challenges. Two new food establishments occupy the main level, both completely renovated to meet current building codes. A third residential unit was added on the second level, to maximize the allowable leased space.

Attention to detail was supported by the clients as the decisions for quality materials were made. StoneTile cladding is used on the exterior, fully utilizing the available palette of corner stones, cornice blocks, lintels and field tiles. Custom cherry entrance systems complete the facades.
