Solterre Design

The Bloomfield House was in dire need of repair due to years of neglect and previous fires.

The owner worked diligently with the contractor to restore this c 1880s wood-frame house in north-end Halifax . The design reconfigures the house's small footprint and allows for two independent dwelling units, a common entrance and storage areas.

Construction work included structural upgrades, exterior cladding, windows and roofing, and interior reframing.
