Waverley Memorial Elementary School

Solterre Design acted as the LEED consultant for the Waverley Memorial Elementary School.  The project houses 360 students (P-6) and 30 staff in a 4,094 m2, two-storey facility. A cistern that holds rainwater captured from the roof is used to flush urinals and toilets throughout the school, significantly reducing the building’s potable water use. A protected green space, equal to the building’s footprint will be protected for the life of the building.
