Kings County Academy

Solterre Design acted as the LEED consultant for Kings County Academy, a 7,700 m2 P-8 school servicing 620 students and staff. This two-storey structural steel frame building is comprised of a masonry brick, glazed curtain wall and metal siding envelope. This 16 million dollar project first opened its door in September of 2011 and is targeting LEED Gold certification.
